I love weddings.
They are my opportunity to spend time with truly happy people . . . and to enhance their happiness with beautiful, memorable photographs they will treasure for a lifetime.
I took my first photograph in high school, using a borrowed Nikon camera. Since becoming a professional photographer in 1987, I’ve shot portraits and products for a wide range of corporate clients. But weddings and other life celebrations are the heart of what I do.
When you entrust me with your wedding photography and videography, you are my focus. My only mission is to interpret the unique qualities of your wedding. Are you traditionalists? Free spirits? Unabashed romantics? The video and photos I create for you will reflect your personal style and the mood you want to express.
Besides patience, skill, and experience, I bring unique qualifications to my role. As a musician, I understand the importance of rhythm and pacing. I won’t rush you; I won’t force you to waltz when you want to polka (or salsa, or tango).
I also have a background in theater—I have an MFA in lighting design—and for years I built stage and movie sets. I understand the theater and the rituals of weddings and know how to put you in the spotlight. |

It’s about fulfilling your dreams, your plans, and your memories. As your photographer, I blend unobtrusively into the background, using the right equipment to capture the desired effect. The last thing you want is someone drawing attention away from you and your ceremony.
Most of all, I am proud to give back to you, in a form you can cherish forever, the happiness you felt on your special day. Long after you say “I do,” I hope you’ll look at your wedding video and photographs and say, "I'd do it all over again."
